Deep in Shifting Woods is one peculiar tree, and near the top is the Clover Tavern. Any denizen knows how to climb, and the stairs are invisible to strangers. The balconies of the establishment are high above the canopies, with leaves filtering the noise, and even the loudest music never reaches the meadow below. Many lost travelers took cover below its gargantuan branches, unaware of the social life happening above. Shifting Woods protect its people and creatures, and strangers are often driven away by strange altars and places of power. Whoever is in the wood's mercy can have a fantastic bark ale or a bite of a fermented chestnut cobbler.
